We stayed in the 4-guest Jungle Rocks room with our friends. The room has rocky walls with branches sticking out and a waterfall shower.
In the morning, we got breakfast at the Madonna Inn Copper Café. Breakfast isn’t complimentary but well worth the cost! Definitely try the famous pink cake!

If you’re looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by pines, check out Cambria Pines Lodge. We did a 4-day staycation here and loved walking around the 25-acre garden and through the Monterey pine forest behind the lodge.
We started our staycation with drinks and complimentary homemade chips and salsa at the Fireside Lounge. We were treated to live music.
The rooms were simple and old-fashioned with no microwave or fridge so we ate out the entire time. They provide free breakfast daily that includes eggs and cereal.
Relax at Sojourn Spa and get Swedish spa treatments or swim at their outdoor pool. They have an on-site restaurant, Cambria Pines Lodge Restaurant that serves tasty food.
We got some delicious Cajun Chicken Pasta as takeout; the restaurant gets busy quickly so make sure to book early if you want to dine in.
